Brigid in Berlin – Festival of Irish Female Literature

The Embassy of Ireland is hosting a two day happening about Irish Female Literary Creativity. The program is filled with readings, panel discussions and lectures on the 30th & 31st January.

The Irish Embassy is hosting a two day event celebrating Irish female literature ahead of St. Brigid’s Day this year entitled Irish Female Literary Creativity. As ever the event is free but spots are limited and to be reserved in advance so be sure to sign up here quickly, if interested.
The program is filled with readings, panel discussions and lectures on the 30th & 31st of January.

Dr. Catherine Toal kicks off the festival on Thursday evening with „Real Life is Literature: Irish Writing Today“. On Friday, the 31st, you can even take part in a publishing workshop hosted by Sarah Davis-Goff. She has written for several newspapers (Guardian, Irish Times) and is Co-Founder of Tramp Press who published Mike McCormack’s “Solar Bones” and Sara Baume’s “Spill Simmer Falter Wither”.
